Intercordia Canada

I was placed in a centre for blind adults in Santa Lucia, Honduras and would never have thought that those 3 months in 2007, given to me through Intercordia, would impact my life so much and continue to do so many years later. The visually impaired students helped me flower and love myself through their love of me. I now seek work that I might have feared to do earlier. (Currently I help teach a girl who has Down syndrome.)
Today I am much more confident in my abilities, and more importantly, the Intercordia experience has greatly contributed to my ability to love others more deeply.
