Intercordia Canada

Intercordia has contributed to my development as it was my first experience traveling on my own.  Therefore it made me more confident in myself and also brought out my adventurous nature and desire to meet and experience people and places all over the world.  While in Ghana I was teaching grades 4, 5 and 6.  I did my student teaching with these grades because of how much I enjoyed working with these grade levels in Ghana.  I knew I wanted to go into education before I left, but my experience reinforced my desire to teach and showed me that I wanted to work with people that face prejudice.
Now I am looking at getting my certification in both EAL( English as an Additional Language) to work with students new to Canada, as well as my Special Education Certificate.
