Cynthia/CMSF/DR/2009 and Daniel/STU/DR/2009 share about their work placement in Consuelo, Domincan Republic in this short video

Cynthia and Daniel faced many challenges in their Intercordia Placement, the least of which was hanging out with the children in this small school. The biggest culture shock for them was not the country, language, food or many of the other “normal” changes but living in a community that is strongly Evngelical Christian and living with families that were professing this faith quite explicitly. As with all Intercordia placements it is always that surprise that shatters a hole in our preconceived expectations and throws us off balance.
