Intercordia was meaningful for me because…Stephanie/Kings/Rwanda/2011

Stephanie reflects on her summer in Rwanda in 2011…..

The Intercordia Expereince was meaningful for me because it gave me a new family. When I joined Intercordia I was not expecting to fall so deeply in love. My host family became so real to me that leaving became unbearable. My fellow Intercordians only added to that family - as “siblings” - who understood my highs and lows, proudest and most difficult moments. My life wouldn’t be complete without my new family - we were made for each other!
