“Intercordia has flipped my world upside down. “

Intercordia has flipped my world upside down. It has challenged my previous knowledge about the world and has completely changed my idea of globalization and development. Intercordia brought me to life and set a fire under me.
Being an Intercordian has assisted me in obtaining a position at the Faculty of Education at York University. It has powerfully influenced my pedagogy and the lesson plans that I teach. Intercordia has given me a reason to teach—it has inspired me to use the classroom as a platform on which students will learn to challenge media representations of marginalized populations, to commemorate the resiliency of global populations, and to always fight for equity and social justice.
