The Intercordia Expereince was meaningful for me because….. Katie/Kings/Honduras/2011

Katie reflects on her summer teaching and living in Honduras.

I learned how to appreciate the simple things in life. I learned how to love unconditionally those who are different from me, while at the same time recognizing that all people are the same. I had the chance to meet 27 beautiful children who will always have a special place in my heart and who’s laughter and joy I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
