My Intercordia experience gave me the chance to see empowerment at work, both within my host family, and the host NGO, Cornerstone Foundation. Throughout my time in Belize I witnessed adversity, and personal resolve to overcome it. Intercordia introduced me to wonderful people whose determination and generosity will not soon be forgotten
